Flight PK-451 was scheduled to depart from Islamabad
at 8:00 AM for Skardu but was delayed due to some technical issue with the
aircraft. The aircraft departed from Islamabad at 12:49 PM for Skardu. During
the flight, cockpit crew observed some problem with aircraft's hydraulic system
and opted to return to Islamabad. The A320 landed at Islamabad at 1:33 PM but
veered off the runway during landing roll and came to rest on grassy surface.
Aircraft engines suffered foreign object damage (FOD). All passengers and crew
members remained safe and were evacuated through mobile stairs. The aircraft was
grounded for repairs.

Pearson International Airport. The incident happened when AP-BGY was
taxiing towards jet bridge after arriving as flight PK-789 from
Karachi via Lahore. The Air France Boeing 777 had arrived at the
airport at 4:45 PM as flight AF-356 from Paris Charles de Gaulle
Airport. Both Boeing 777s were grounded for inspections and repairs.
On January 6, AP-BGY departed from Toronto as flight PK-790 to
Lahore.

The A320 performing flight PK-244 from Dammam to Sialkot
diverted to Lahore Airport due to bad weather near Sialkot.
The aircraft landed in Lahore at 6:03 PM. A storm struck
Lahore Airport when the aircraft was served by mobile stairs
on port side and an ambulift on starboard side. The storm
pushed the aircraft sideways to starboard side. Due to
aircraft's movement, its engine number one cowling collided
with mobile stairs. On the starboard side, the aircraft's
forward baggage/cargo hold door got damaged by ambulift. The
aircraft was grounded and passengers of flight PK-244 were
sent to Sialkot by road from Lahore. After completion of
initial repairs, the aircraft was ferried from Lahore to
Karachi as flight PK-8307 on June 6. The A320 returned to
service when it departed from Karachi as flight PK-350 to
Peshawar on June 7.

The ATR had arrived in Lahore as flight PK-684 from Multan
and was being prepared to perform flight PK-654 to Islamabad
when a storm struck Lahore Airport. Due to force of the
storm, the aircraft's nose section on port side was hit and
slashed by ground equipment. The aircraft was grounded and
flight PK-654 cancelled. After repairs, the aircraft
returned to service and departed from Lahore as flight
PK-654 to Islamabad on June 7.
