On August
14, 2016, PIA launched its PIA Premier service with an Airbus A330-300
(registration 4R-ALN) wet leased from SriLankan Airlines. The inaugural flight PK-785 was
operated from Islamabad to London. The wet lease term of 4R-ALN was not
extended after it performed flight PK-758 from London-Heathrow to Lahore
on February 8, 2017.
