History of PIA - Pakistan International Airlines

In April of 2010, PIA introduced a new livery. A two-colour diagonal band using golden colour and Pakistan flag dark green colour divides fuselage into two colors. Forward part of the fuselage is in white color. The rear portion of the fuselage is in off-white color. The two-colour diagonal band starts from belly and reaches aircraft tail cone and from there it returns to its starting point on aircraft belly thus keeping top of aircraft fuselage in white colour. PIA logo in billboard style is placed on forward portion of the fuselage and just below PIA logo are Pakistan International titles in golden colour in small font size. Airline's stylized Urdu logo is placed just behind cockpit windows in dark green colour. Pakistan in Urdu text in small size is painted in dark green colour above cabin window line on rear section of fuselage. Pakistan flag covers entire tail of the aircraft. PIA Urdu logo in dark green colour is also applied on off-white engine cover. Pakistan in English text is painted in dark green colour on aircraft belly. In January 2014, the PIA Urdu logo was given its original 1976 gold colour.

The first dry leased Airbus A320-200 delivered to PIA on June 28, 2014, has star & crescent in green colour painted on engine covers.
