Seen in this photo from left to right are Chief Instructor, Flight Service, PIA Training Centre (PTC) Mufti Shabahat Hussain, off-duty Air Hostess Hina Turab, Flight Purser Javed Bhatti, Sri Lankan cricket team's captain Arjuna Ranatunga and Senior Purser Sarshar Ahmad. The Sri Lankan team was going to Pakistan to play their quarter final match of 1996 Cricket World Cup against England in Pakistani city of Faisalabad on March 9, 1996. The Sri Lankan team won that match in Faisalabad and went on to lift the 1996 Cricket World Cup under wise leadership of Ranatunga

Zia-ul-Islam and Sri Lankan cricket team's star all-rounder Sanath Jayasuriya. The Sri Lankan team was going to Pakistan to play their quarter final match of 1996 Cricket World Cup against England in Pakistani city of Faisalabad on March 9, 1996. That match in Faisalabad was won by Sri Lanka with Jayasuriya getting declared man-of-the-match. The Sri Lankan team went on to lift the 1996 Cricket World Cup and Sanath Jayasuriya was declared man of the series for the major role he played in Sri Lanka's successful 1996 Cricket World Cup campaign
