This beautiful advertisement from June 1964 appeared in an American magazine. The advertisement shows left main landing gear of a Boeing 720B jetliner. The advertisement says: "During 1963 PIA's punctuality record averaged 88%, which is among the highest in the industry -- and PIA have seventy seven scheduled departures every day. A record like this doesn't just happen. It results from the high standards which this modern and vigorous airline sets itself in an industry of high standards. This explains why last year PIA -- a consistently profitable airline -- carried over 14% more passengers, and why seasoned travellers say PIA are great people to fly with."

This PIA advertisement showing cockpit of a Boeing 720B with two captains appeared in an American magazine in 1963. The advertisement reads:

"Two captains? On every flight? Come on.

It's true. PIA believes that in these days of superjets and crowded skies there ought to be a full captain at the controls every minute the plane is in the air. So we have two fully rated captains on every flight. Awfully good ones, too. It costs us, in point of fact, over a million rupees to train each captain. We think it's worth every one. You will, too. Your travel agent will book you on a PIA jet flight to London, Frankfurt, Geneva, Rome, Beirut, Teheran, Karachi, with connections to India, Nepal and Burma."
