This rare color photo from Frank's collection shows AP-ALX at Rawalpindi Airport in 1960s. On December 12, 1971 AP-ALX crashed near Pakistan's border with Iran. There were four crew members aboard the aircraft and all of them died in this accident

PIA's ill-fated AP-BCP photographed by Umar Anis at Lahore Airport on March 31, 1987. When Umar took this photo the A300 was completing PIA flight PK-302 from Karachi to Lahore under the command of Capt. Asad Ali. Five years later, on September 28, 1992, AP-BCP crashed into a hill, in poor visibility and misty weather conditions, minutes before landing at Kathmandu valley's Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal. 167 people died in this accident

AP-AJC skidded sideways off the runway and broke one of its wings after landing at Rawalpindi Airport, Pakistan on May 18, 1959. Although, there was no loss of life in this accident but AP-AJC was damaged beyond repair and withdrawn from use

This photo from Werner's collection shows AP-BCJ on short finals for Dubai Airport in December of 1999. AP-BCJ was damaged beyond repair when its right main landing gear collapsed during landing at Dubai Airport on September 17, 2001. Nobody was seriously injured or hurt in this accident
