Mr. Ahmad Saeed Siddiqi joined PIA on February 14,1966 (Valentine's Day) and served the airline with the same spirit for 38 years. He belongs to the pioneering class of legendary architects & achievers who stood in the frontline with the achievers of the compliment of "Great People to fly with". With his dogged determination & devotion he witnessed the growth & transformation of PIA in becoming the aviation conglomerate of today. After serving in Marketing, Sales, Cargo & Airport Services, love of globe trotting pushed him as a cabin crew in 1969. He was promoted as Senior Purser in 1977. Utilizing his analytical skills of quality control played a contributory role in establishment of Management & Information Systems (MIS) and he worked as Quality Control Officer (Food & Flight Service) and performance evaluation officer for 5 years. During his Quality Control tenure he achieved highest qualification of Certified Food & Beverages Executive & Certified Hotel Administrator (CFBE & CHA) from Michigan State University & Certification of American Hotel & Motel Association and became the first & the only Pakistani holding world’s highest recognition  for hospitality excellence & professionalism. He served for two terms as Manager Flight Services Islamabad. His efforts in nurturing Islamabad base from 11 cabin crew base to the strength of 375 cannot be ignored. He retired on 02, June, 2004, as Customer Service Officer. Highly respected among cabin crew & other interacting departments, truly an airline man, he is remembered as Baba-e-Flight Service and MIS. He is a now a syndicated columnist &  intends to write his memoirs as a Cabin Crew

The registration mark of this aircraft was N7522A and it was on lease to PIA from June 1978 to February 1979. By taking closer look we can read text 'LEASED TO PIA' painted above first cabin window of the aircraft
