This rare color photograph belongs to Fred's collection. The photo was taken in late 1960s and it shows a PIA aircraft hangar from outside of Dacca Airport, Tejgaon, near Jahangir Gate, Dacca Cantonment, East Pakistan. Note cycle rickshaw carrying students of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Shaheen School. The small building-like part atop the roof is typical extension to first generation hangars from the prop time that became too low for modern jetliners. Additions to hangars like this were done to accommodate higher tails of Boeing 707s and 720Bs. Most first generation hangars were wide enough to accommodate the span of 707s and 720Bs, but not tall enough
