Capt. Mian Fazal-e-Nasir  (Umar Anis Collection)

Autographed photo of late Capt. M.F. Nasir in the collection of Umar Anis. In this photo Capt. Nasir is seen at the controls of a PIA Boeing 747-200B. Capt. Nasir was a highly experienced Boeing 747 pilot. He joined PIA in 1959 and had a long and distinguished career with the airline where he served as an instructor on Boeing 747 and was also Chief Pilot Planning and Chief Pilot Scheduling in the Flight Operations Department. On his last flight for PIA, Capt. Nasir commanded Boeing 747-240B Combi (AP-BAK) flight from New York to Frankfurt in March 1987. Sadly, Capt. Nasir died in a road accident in Lahore on September 15, 1991
