Co-Pilot Sajjad Hussain seen in the

with his wife and three children, were victims of
October 8, 2005, earthquake in Pakistan and died
under the rubble of
Margalla
Towers,
Islamabad, where Capt.
Sajjad and his family lived. On October 8, 2005, he was scheduled

Boeing 777-240LR (registration
N6066Z) on November 10, 2005, at London's Heathrow Airport. This
Boeing 777-240LR will be delivered to PIA as AP-BGZ in 2006. Boeing Company established a new world record for
distance traveled nonstop by a commercial airplane with this
Boeing 777-240LR. The long range Boeing 777-240LR flew 11,664
nautical miles (21,601 km) during its 22-hour 43-minute flight
that left Hong Kong flying eastbound the evening of November 9.
The distance set by this Boeing 777-240LR is farther than any
previous commercial jetliner has flown and exceeds a distance of
more than halfway around the world. The 777-240LR left Hong Kong
International Airport at 10:30 p.m. local time November 9 and
landed at London Heathrow Airport at approximately 1:14 p.m. GMT
November 10. The airplane traveled eastbound towards London,
flying over the North Pacific Ocean, across North America, and
then over the mid-north Atlantic Ocean en route to London. Along
with five Boeing pilots, Capt. Asif Abbas Reza and Capt. Mohammed
Ilyas Malik also flew the aircraft. The record breaking Boeing
777-240LR was landed at London Heathrow Airport by Capt. Asif
Abbas
