This old First Day Cover (FDC) issued by Pakistan Posts & Telegraphs shows block of four Pakistani postage stamps celebrating PIA's first jet flight, operated with Boeing 720B, between Karachi and Dacca (now Dhaka) on February 6, 1962. PIA's Boeing 720B turbo-fan jetliner, with a cruising speed of over 610 miles per hour, covered the distance between Karachi and Dacca in two hours and thirty minutes. Also note special pictorial cancellation with date February 6, 1962, on four postage stamps that were overprinted with text reading "First Jet Flight Karachi - Dacca" and silhouette of a Boeing 720B jetliner
