In this late 1960s advertisement you can see a PIA Air Hostess wearing uniform designed by Pierre Cardin. "In 1966, the most colorful, if not the most significant, happening took place when a new uniform for PIA air-hostesses was designed by the renowned French designer Pierre Cardin. This, more than any other singular factor, imprinted PIA's name on the international market. It took the aviation world by storm.
