1977 PIA advertisement informing readers about induction of twelve aircraft in airline's fleet. The twelve aircraft were: two Boeing 747-200B, four McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30, One Boeing 707, three Boeing 720B and two Fokker F27 Friendship.

The advertisement reads:

"PIA - One of the world's most successful airlines:

While others have cut back, we added 12 more aircraft.

If you thought these last years were just about the worst years in the history of the airline business, take a look at PIA.

Far from cutting back, PIA has more than doubled its passengers and freight, added even more destinations to its world-wide network (over 50 cities on 4 continents), and increased its fleet by 12 more planes.

These planes are serving our routes that extend from New York to Paris, Frankfurt, Cairo, the Middle East, Pakistan and China.

PIA is now offering six exciting tour packages including France, Germany, Egypt, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka. For brochures, see your travel agent or write: PIA, 545 Fifth Avenue, New York, N.Y. 10017.

Come aboard. You'll find us great people to fly with."
