Air Hostess Lily Sardar descending aircraft stairs at Idlewild Airport, New York City, USA. The Boeing 707-321 (registration N723PA) seen in this photo made PIA the first Asian airline to operate jetliner. It was acquired on lease from Pan American Airways by PIA in February 09, 1960 for use from March 07, 1960 on the London service that was extended to New York on May 05, 1961. PIA after buying its own Boeing 720B jets returned this Boeing 707 to Pan American on December 12, 1962
