PIA Mil Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter parked at Islamabad Airport on July 7, 1995. The Russian-made helicopter, sporting 1990s PIA livery with Uzbek registration UK-27089, was acquired on lease by PIA from Uzbekistan for scheduled passenger flights from its base in Islamabad to Abbottabad, Bhurban, Sialkot and Peshawar. Helicopter's charter service was available for Shogran, Kalam, Naran and Chitral
