On August 8, 2016, AP-BLA performing Islamabad to Skardu flight PK-451 returned to Islamabad after experiencing hydraulics problem. The A320 during landing at Islamabad Airport veered off the runway and came to rest on grassy surface. All 123 persons aboard the aircraft remained safe however engine number two of the aircraft suffered foreign object damage (FOD) and the aircraft was grounded for repairs and engine replacement. The A320 returned to service after repairs and engine replacement
