TCS adds Boeing 737 in its chartered cargo aircraft fleet

Through an ad in today's (November 19, 2006) newspaper Pakistan's leading courier company TCS announced addition of Boeing 737 in their fleet of chartered cargo aircraft. The Boeing 737 will be used on following two routes:

Karachi-Lahore-Karachi
&
Karachi-Dubai-Karachi

Does anybody know which 737 version it is? I hope it wont be a 737-200...

You can pretty much bet that its a 732. Alot more of those have been converted into freighters versus the 733's and 734's.

There was a full page ad in The News today (20 Nov) announcing the addition of Boeing 737 in the TCS cargo fleet. Interestingly however the accompanying picture showed an Airbus instead of a B-737... Interestingh slip indeed plus it shows the professionalism of the ad agency and those in TCs who vetted the ad.

Is this aircraft through Star Air's AOC?
If not, is it a wet-lease/dry lease or did they. TCS, outright buy it?

I am afraid, you too are not right Abbas, if its A-330, we dont see the winglets. Its most probably an A-300 or A-300-600. Let other people too guess

IÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢m sure photo of Airbus A330 wing was used in this ad. Landing gear design, shape/position of landing light in wing and engine pylon clearly show itÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s an A330.

The ad designer has edited the photo and removed winglet, cabin windows, a flap track fairing and shortened wingÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s length.

Seriously I wouldnÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t have been able to guess which aircraft type it is other than that it is Airbus without the photos Abbas Ali and now its clear that the aircraft presented in the ad is an Airbus A330.

The lights (circled red) matches exactly with the position of the lights of the a/c present in the ad.

I hope there isnÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t any confusion left.

WOW its amazing no one could figure it out as yet, well i'd say Tailwind is on right track here, look at the landing gear and gear door and flap track fairings, its B767, i thought for second as B777 but no, height of the wing root and diehedrial on B777 is way more then B767, so yes its B767 for sure....
