If PIA is looking for more fuel efficent aircraft, why not buy or lease the 787 or even become the launch customer of the 748i??
both are more fuel efficent than the 777, and if delivery is a problem with the 787, Boeing has promised a seperate line for the 787-10 once it is launched as EK and SQ will probably be placing massive orders and they will need their aircraft earlier.
PIAs main competitors are from the middle east for many of the routes. I see bigger ques for EK, GF, QR, and EY than PK everytym i visit KHI...and with a potential 60 aircraft A350 order by QR, n a 50 odd aircraft order by EK, i think that PK needs to consider the 787, 350, and the 748i over the 777.
