PIA to transport 35,000 Hajj pilgrims under government scheme from various cities of Pakistan under an agreement signed between the airline and Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony for Hajj 2025.
The ministry will also sign agreements with other airlines of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for the transportation of Hajj pilgrims between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Agreement signed between Serene Air and Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony for the transportation of pilgrims in Hajj 2025 flight operations.
Agreement signed between Saudia and Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony for the transportation of pilgrims in Hajj 2025 flight operations. Saudia Country Manager in Pakistan Sultan Alharbi and Additional Secretary Ministry of Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Syed Ata-ur-Rehman signed the agreement.

Astonishing to see equal number of seats between saudi airlines and PIA no support/preference to national airline like all countries.
Not astonishing at all considering favors Saudis have done to Pakistan in general.

My assumption is those are the people going via private Hajj scheme, and will probably utilize EK, QR etc. I have heard now a days private hajj and gov hajj cost difference is not so big so people opt for earlier, meaning they are not bound to be on these "official Hajj flights".

PIA pre-Hajj flights operation to be conducted from April 29 to June 1. PIA to transport 56,000 intending pilgrims (36,000 private + 20,000 government scheme) through 280 flights to Saudi Arabia.
PIA post-Hajj flights operation to be conducted from June 12 to July 10.
Airbus A320 and Boeing 777 aircraft to take part in PIA Hajj flights operation.
