Astonishing to see equal number of seats between saudi airlines and PIA no support/preference to national airline like all countries.

So how do the remaining Hujjaj travel? Do the airlines operate additional flights too?

Not astonishing at all considering favors Saudis have done to Pakistan in general.

My assumption is those are the people going via private Hajj scheme, and will probably utilize EK, QR etc. I have heard now a days private hajj and gov hajj cost difference is not so big so people opt for earlier, meaning they are not bound to be on these "official Hajj flights".

I am guessing with spare engines arriving from different countries PIA should be able to re-activate some 777s which will be used for hajj.

unless reduced Saudi flights will allow the six 777s to do the hajj flights also.

With Europe active and if good loads for Paris, then PIA should look at some other cities Barcelona, Rome, Copenhagen and Frankfurt to expand revenue.
