
National Airlines Boeing 747-400 freighter named "Lori" (aircraft registration N936CA) transported first batch of high breed cattle from Sao Paulo (Brazil) to Sialkot. The cattle has been imported to support Green Pakistan Livestock Initiative (GPLI) under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) to meet rising demand of meat and milk in Pakistan. The aircraft arrived in Sialkot on March 28.


The Boeing 747 cargo flight from Sao Paulo to Sialkot made stops in Angola and Oman.





From Sialkot cattle were shifted to Okara where they will be kept in quarantine for two weeks.
The cattle will be supplied to farmers in Pakistan for country's meat and milk requirements.
