Re: Karachi Airport to Get New Passenger Boarding Bridges
Have all the bridges been replaced by the new ones? Or is the installation still work in progress?

I hope those massive cooling units will provide the sufficient cooling in the bridges. Current environment is too suffocated

Maybe they are preparing the airport to accommodate the A380 as the airbridge splits into two for faster transfer of passengers to terminal and to aircraft.

Just on the basis that new Jetways have 2 ways, you're saying that A380 will be coming to Khi! Hats off man! =D>

Chances of a A380 flight into Pakistan are next to NILL, don't have the traffic for Emirates or Etihad to fly such a short hopp to their own hubs.Abdulrafeysiddiqui wrote:Just on the basis that new Jetways have 2 ways, you're saying that A380 will be coming to Khi! Hats off man! =D>

Re: Karachi Airport to Get New Passenger Boarding Bridges
That could be second reason. The first reason is that none of the Airport in Pak can handle A380

Bigger wide-body aircraft like Boeing 777 are also served by dual-end jet bridges for faster passenger embarkation/disembarkation process.
