Eid Mubarak...with 30 new PIA tails!

Post by VirtualPIA »

Assalam o Alaikum all, and Eid Mubarak!

May Allah accept our good deeds during this Ramadan, and overlook our mistakes and shower his blessings upon us all.

On this Eid, Virtual PIA brings you PIA's 747-367 Megatop Jumbo, AP-BFU, titled Islamabad - The Margalla Magic.

In addition to that, we will also be uploading the entire remainder of PIA's newly repainted fleet, including

ATR AP-BHN
733 AP-BCA
733 AP-BCB
733 AP-BCD
310 AP-BEB
310 AP-BEC
310 AP-BEG
310 AP-BGO
310 AP-BGQ
743 AP-BFY

The 737s, ATR and 310s despite being repainted earlier could not be uploaded because my entire system crashed with all these repaints. The hard disk was not being picked up by the CPU and since my hard disk is well over 8-9 years old, finding a similar model and shifting the storage disks to that one was difficult. After 3 weeks I got it back 2 days ago and after running for 3-4 hours, it crashed again, and is back in the shop. Fortunately the more serious errors had been rectified during the earlier repair, and I have managed to get the 737s and ATR on a seperate hard disk.

This brings ALL of PIA's newly repainted airplanes on the net available for download, thanks to the great level of cooperation from Mr. Umair Ayaz, Mr. Edward Cox and Mr. Mike Pearson, whose valuable efforts have played the most important part in this development.

Inshallah, if things go as planned, in 5-10 days the following 32 aircraft will be online at flightsim.com

ATR 42-500 AP-BHI Gwadar
ATR 42-500 AP-BHJ Mohenjodaro
ATR 42-500 AP-BHM Hala
ATR 42-500 AP-BHN Chitral
ATR 42-500 AP-BHO Hasanabdal
ATR 42-500 AP-BHP Gilgit

B747-217BM AP-BAT Quetta
B737-340 AP-BCA Gilgit
B737-340 AP-BCB Multan
B737-340 AP-BCC Quetta
B737-340 AP-BCD Turbat
B737-340 AP-BEH
A310 AP-BEB Thatta
A310 AP-BEC Nowshera
A310 AP-BEG Gilgit
A310 AP-BEU Peshawar
A310 AP-BGN Taxila
A310 AP-BGO Gwadar
A310 AP-BGP Murree

B743 AP-BGG Kaghan
B772 AP-BG*
B772 AP-BHX Quetta
B773 AP-BHV Thar
B773 AP-BHW Lahore

My heartfelt thanks to Mr. Umair Ayaz, Mr. Edward Cox and Mr. Mike Pearson, for all their hard work and their huge contribution in making this work possible.

The VPIA site will have a different look very soon, a new download section and we will update the schedules and possibly the assignment system, and prepare for the upcoming Hajj flights.
We are also going to appoint some new administrators, first on observation, and later as permanent members of the management team.

Enjoy the aircraft everyone, and have a nice Eid!

thank you for your replies, Arif and Saad bhai.
Ofcourse the credit goes to our members for taking the time to upload their screenshots for our use, and to the original texture designers, Umair Ayaz, Edward Cox and Mike Pearson.
