Wasn't AP-BFU in really bad condition.
Did BFU go through major re-furbishment?? And not just the cabin, but also the engineering side of the aircraft.
Plus PIA was majorly short of RR engines for its 747 fleet.
Someone had mentioned that 13 out of 29 engines are not in working order, effectively keeping only four aircraft airworthy at any given time.
Have those engines been repaired???

BFV is & has been short 4 engines - The a/c is supposedly "preserved".
Of the five spare RB211 engines, PK is reporting one serviceable in stock. So what about the four off BFV. And where did the one sent to Jordan come from! Someone had reported here that 13 engines went out (on a Combi!) for maintenance and were estimated to be back end May!
BFU seat cushions are all still not in & upholstery is being taken care of by local poshish wala. Forget the tech rectification & airworthiness etc. Who needs it.

Just to clarify AP-BFU has been named Islamabad - the Margalla Magic as seen wearing the Punjab province tail and has not been named Hasanabdal as mentioned by Umair.
