QUETTA, Feb 27 (APP): Pakistan International Airline Tuesday reduced Quetta-Dubai air fare by 45 per cent to facilitate the passengers and business community while another flight from Turbat to Sharjah has also been launched.
General Manager PIA Balochistan Asghar Mohiuddin Wardag said this while talking to APP here Tuesday.
“PIA has also increased the number of its weekly flights to eight from Quetta to Karachi by adding a flight on Tuesday and doubling the flight on Sundayâ€ÂÂ, he said, and added that they have also submitted a proposal for operating seven flights a week between Quetta and Lahore.
He said PIA would introduce special Advance Booking package from March 1 under which 10 per cent concession would be given to passengers on international routes if they book seats 30 days before their departure. 7.5 per cent concession would be granted to them in case of booking made 15 days earlier, he added.
“Those booking their seats seven days earlier of their departure on domestic flights would also be given 10 per cent concession in fareâ€ÂÂ, he maintained.
There is no problem in getting seats from Quetta for other destinations as PIA has heavily fined many travel agencies for blocking the seats, he said.
He said another package has also been introduced under which 50 per sent concession in fare would be given to the passenger who gets seat on chance on arrival at the airport two hours before the flight departure.
