PK786 17th Feb

Post by iqbal »

Just got a call from PIA saying the flight meant to depart at 4:50 will now leave at 8:45pm, the reason was "operational requirement." After checking the PIA site, PK785 from ISB has been rerouted via Karachi - anyone know why ?

Thanks and Sallam

(1) Karachi a/c grounded
(2) Passengers from both flights comming on PK785.
(3) I am leaving Oxford about 1730hrs. My other half is comming back on this flight. By the time passengers come out , it would be about 2000hrs so I should be back home about 2130 hrs.

Due to AP-BGY delay at Manchester, AP-BHV flew to JFK on Thursday to recover the passengers and flight and landed at Karachi this morning. That's why ISB-LHR PK785 re-routed via Karachi as aircraft was in Karachi.

Now should be landing in 40 mins inshallah.

AP-BGG arrived on time from LHE. and etd is 2000z

Arrival time was 1845 but landed 1847. By the time I got back to Oxford it was 2130 and clocked 99 miles (both ways) on car meter.
