ISTANBUL, Feb 16 (APP): Pakistan and Turkey agreed to cooperate with each other in promoting tourism with exchange of tourists and increasing flights between the two countries.
It was decided during a meeting of Minister for Tourism Senator Nelofar Bakhtiar and representatives of Ministry of Tourism of Turkey and a delegation of Turkish tour operators.
Federal Minister for Tourism Nilofar Bakhtiar said Pakistan would benefit from the experiences of Turkey for promoting tourism sector in Pakistan.
It was also decided that Turkish Airlines will start direct flights between Istanbul and Lahore in May this year to promote tourism.
Turkish Airlines and PIA also promote their cooperation and help each other in providing direct destination to the tourists, she added.
The Tourism Minister said Turkey stands at number three in the world ranking where most tourists visit every year and the country earned billion of dollars through tourism industry and Pakistan will take benefit from Turkish experience in this regard.
She said that films featuring the country's tourist sites would be shown on regular basis in the flights in order to promote tourism in Pakistan.

I can't see it on their website. There isn't anything written about their Lahore service, neither in their news section nor in announcements. Can't say anything, unless Turkish official has said it.
