ISLAMABAD, Jan 3 (APP): The post-Haj operation to bring about 150,000 pilgrims back home from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia after performance of Haj, will start with the arrival of first special Haj flight PK-3204 here at Islamabad International Airport on Thursday (January 4).
“The first special Haj flight with 445 passengers on board is scheduled to land at the airport at 1800 hours,†official sources said here on Wednesday.
He said a total of 476 special Haj flights will be operated to airlift Pakistani pilgrims from the Holy Land till February 3.
The national flag carrier, PIA will transport about 124,500 pilgrims from Jeddah while Saudi Airline will airlift about 25,500 pilgrims after Haj during the post-Haj operation.
All the return flights will be operated from Jeddah airport to Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta airports.
