KARACHI: PIA flight PK-761 from Karachi to Islamabad and onwards to Istanbul was held up in Islamabad by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on safety issues on Tuesday (November 7).
The PIA Airbus A310-300 was stopped by CAA Pakistan at Islamabad because the emergency function of the main door was not working properly, say CAA sources. The flight was re-routed to Karachi.
Similarly, PK-207 flight from Karachi to Dubai, also an A310, was delayed in Karachi on Tuesday, again on safety issues, say CAA sources.
