KARACHI: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is implementing better health and safety standards for security of aircraft and passengers, a press release said on Wednesday.
It is implementing these standards – Health Safety Security and Environment to ERP solutions – in conjunction with international regulatory agencies such as International Civil Aviation Organization, Federal Aviation Administration of USA and Joint Aviation Regulations of Europe.
CAA is also endeavoring to provide benefits to travelers and airlines. The authority indicated at enhancing non-aeronautical revenues to limit the charges on airlines, which could even be reduced, it added.
