Allama Iqbal Intl.(OPLA) for FS2004

Post by umair_ayaz »

Hi Guys!

There has been a massive breakthrough in Pakistani Flight Simulation field recently with Mr. M. Khalid Saeed releasing his OPLA scenery for FS2004. I haven’t myself tried this scenery yet as I am posting this thread immediately after receiving an email from Mr. Ali Mujtaba who informed me about this.

It is available for download at http://www.flightsim.com
Filename: opla.zip
FIle-size: 2.17 MB
Release Date: 26th Septembr,2006
Author: M. Khalid Saeed
Features: Gates which move towards aircraft as you park them; dock guidance as you bring the aircraft to park at gate; lighting at night time; blue lights on taxiways; fence around airport; some static objects; roads

Let's see who posts screenshots of this scenery first.

Also after trying this scenery don’t forget to cast your vote in the poll accompanying this thread.

This is the first time I have tried loading images from my FS2K4.
I did not want to have thunbnail images, but this is the best I could do.

Sceneries look quite good to me. Except for one B742 with the white part in Sindh tail made blue by mistake.

My vote: 4/5.

BTW, nutsforplanes thanks for the thumbnails.

Mr. M. Khalid Saeed is not associated with Flightsim Pakistan, but who says that if he isn’t the scenery isn’t good? (I’ve rated it 5/5)

It’s really one of the best & rare Pakistani FS sceneries released to date. And yes…OPKC is releasing soon; so back to back two Pakistani sceneries…worth some treat!

Well I couldn’t permutate too many options!

This scenery has nothing to do with the AI aircraft you’ve observed in nutsforplanes shots. You can get them free from Flightsim, AVSIM or SimFlight Network. Well, to be honest I’ve never been into this AI mess, I use PAI Auto installer to install airline packages available at Project AI’s website…There are many guys around who can help you to tune up your FS AI!

This is an excellent release, however the height ratio of the aircraft to the buildings is totally wrong. The building should be shorter other than that it looks pretty good.
