Beijing shifting from the A310 to the B777

i'm in Beijing these days and i've just heard that PIA is shifting Beijing from the A310 to the B777. why is this another corporate blunder i flew in on PK 852 and we barely had 160 pax on board how will they manage to fill up a 350 seater now.

Maybe PIA is moving Beijing from Tokyo flight to Los Angeles sector.

Karachi-Islamabad-Beijing-Los Angeles.

While Tokyo will shift to Karachi-Bangkok-Tokyo 2 weekly A310s.
