Jet Fuel Imports By PIA

Just wondering if PIA imports the fuel directly, or purchases through oil companies in Pakistan?

Also does PIA pay import duty and other taxes on its fuel bill like other companies in Pakistan.

One way the government of Pakistan can provide relief to PIA and other private airlines is by eliminating taxes on oil purchases, allowing them to reduce their oil bill and compete better with Middle East carriers.

I think this is very valid suggestion as it will surely give needed support to the sinking airline industry whose significant role in sustaining the appreciable growth rate can hardly be over-emphasized.
