Traveled JFK-ISB on 27th April aboard AP-BGY in Economy class and return also on AP-BGY on 11th May in Economy Plus, did not take any pictures.
Check-in at JFK was smooth without any wait. Flight took off an hour late but arrived in ISB exactly on time. Flight load was less than 50%. I had 2 vacant seats and was able to take few naps. Usual meals were served. Crew especially mentioned about mood lighting in their announcement. 777LRs have mood lighting and AVOD in all the classes. I asked a female cabin crew member about the rates of the in-flight phone. She started laughing and said, yeh phone naheen hay, yeh to TV ka control hay. There was a male steward walking by and he told her that yes it is also a phone and told me the rates. She looked quite embarrassed. There was a crew change at MAN. I have noticed that male cabin crew members are nicer and courteous as compared to female cabin crew members.
Check-in for return flight was smooth at ISB. When I boarded the plane, I found a lady sitting in my seat. I told a steward about my seat situation and he asked the lady to go to her seat but she refused to go to her assigned seat. Luckily Economy Plus was not full and steward found another aisle seat for me which also had an empty seat besides it. Ironically same lady later asked me to complete her mother's UK immigration card, which I did. 777LRs have 35 inches of seat pitch in Economy plus which definitely is very comfortable and in my opinion worth spending the extra money. From ISB to MAN we had Captain Adil and two first officers and captain especially mentioned the one of them was flying the plane. From MAN to JFK we had Captain Naseem. Before take off captain especially pointed out an area on the side of the run way which was designated for spotters and photographers. I could see people with cameras in that area. Also 3 hours into the flight, captain told passengers that on our right side we have an airplane with 1000 meters separation and we will overtake the airplane. It was a MyTravel plane and I could easily read that on the plane. I wish I had a camera to take that Pic. I have never seen an in-flight plane that close before. We arrived at JFK 45 mins ahead of scheduled arrival time.

Wow never heard of PIA pilots being so interactive with the passengers. Is this unique one time or does it happen often? Well because they remain mostly hidden somewhere up in the front and you dont see them enter and you dont see them leave. All you hear is someone shut that gate, everybody sit down now, put your seat belts on, we're expecting turbulence so dont go to the toilet. Nice to see that they are showing their existence and talking to people in the back.
Wish you had a chance to take pictures of the derby racing you described up there.
