National Aviation Safety Team formed

KARACHI: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), in a bid to keep the accident rate in the country at zero level, has decided to constitute National Aviation Safety Team (NAST) comprising all airlines operating in the country.

In this regard, the first meeting of the NAST will be held at CAA head office here on Wednesday. The NAST has been formed in accordance with guidelines issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Pakistan is the first country in the region that has constituted such a team to prevent the causes of accidents.
