Road to be constructed between Gwadar to Iran

ISLAMABAD, April 05 (Online): Road connecting Gwadar to Iranian border will be completed within two years.

Federal Minister for Transportation, Shamim Siddiqui expressed these views while talking to the delegation which met him under the leadership of Irani Minister for Roads & Transportation at his office on Tuesday.

The delegation expressed their desire for starting two direct flights to Islamabad from Tehran. The Pakistani minister assured them that the matter would be discussed with PM Shaukat Aziz.

He further informed the delegation that a road would be constructed between Quetta and Taftan to further strengthen the trade and economic ties between the two countries.

2 weekly B733 should be good for the route.

However as the B733 don't have business class, why would gvt officials want to travel in economy?

Have PIA served TEH before?

Are you sure PIA B733 dont have Business Class?

O yes I just checked PIA website and it says P,Y classes available for B733. But I remember my Dad travelled business class on LYP-KHI sector at the time when only 733 serves that route few years ago.

Yes they did fly a once weekly Friday flight by 733 to THR. That was back in the 90's I recall and IR still fly ever Wednesday to KHI. Previously they used to fly in and out at night using a mix fleet of 707, 74L and 742. Then they switched to noon flights with either an A310 or AB2.
