PIA breaks 90% punctuality barrier

KARACHI: After breaking all records of past 26 years last year achieving 87 percent punctuality, PIA in its race for excellence, broke the 90 percent barrier by achieving 91 percent punctuality.

In fact, if all the factors that are not in PIA’s control, like weather, VVIP movement, Civil Aviation Authority, ATC etc. are taken then PIA achieved a hitherto unprecedented punctuality rate in its entire history of 52 years of 97 percent.

PIA regularity has already crossed 98 percent mark earlier this year.

It is hoped that with the induction of new aircraft in its fleet, PIA will further improve its operational performance, all in the best interest of comfort and convenience of its millions of valued passengers.
