B777LR not going direct to JFK
B777LR will not be flying direct to JFK from Pakistan.
Its looks like the US has not yet given permission for direct flts
There will be six flts going via MAN and four of them will then fly direct on the way back to Pakistan.
Obviously the combis will stop via MAN on the return.

This is disappointing as I am traveling JFK-ISB-JFK on 27th April and return on 11th May. But at least I will get the JFK-ISB non-stop flight. Hopefully PIA gets permission to fly non-stop by the time I come back.
SENIOR, do you have any info how it will affect the flight arrival and departure timings as PIA website is displaying timings for non-stop flights. Can you please give me any updated info on PK723 arrival and departure timings with the Manchester stop because I have to catch a domestic flight from JFK.

my friend captain got flight PK793 LHE-MAN tomorrow tuesday and he will fly PK721 AP-BGZ MAN-JFK. captain said YES jump seat for me on my staff ticket no problem.
today i can get my malaysia airline self ticketing staff ID90 MAN-JFK no problem but I checked with PIA london said me that PK721 NO traffic right MAN-JFK only PK715 and PK717 traffic right. PIA dont think (NOT sure)my staff ticket accept allow travel PK721 no traffic right sector on wed 29 march 2006. I spoke to PIA interline secretary said me should apply FREE PIA staff ticket least two weeks. they told me to contact station manager or PIA manchester airport or ask captain to get special permission for my staff ticket allow travel PK721 MAN-JFK. I tried to phone station manager and PIA manchester airport staff telephone is no reply then mobile are voice mail.
i want to fly AP-BGZ MAN-JFK PK721 Wed 29 March.
tomorrow AP-BGZ changed from PK789 to PK727.

Dear umar744,
As far as i am aware even though there may not be traffic rights for any particular flt ex MAN these rulings apply to revenue pax only.
Non-revenue/staff may travel on these routes upon discretion of the airline and the operating captain on jump seats.
However, please check with Mr Ijaz Ahmed SM MAN as to the confirmation of this tommorow morning after 0900LT on 0161 499 2155.

Today I phoned PIA Manchester at SM said yes all PIA staff and non rev ticket can fly.
Today I went to PIA London and showed my ticket staff ID90 them said yes they told me to go to London PIA booking office to put my name list, Flight Number, Date, Passport Number and Return Date. I went there and quest and I finished at 1130AM and it tube from Greeb Park to Hounslow Central arrive 1245PM walk to my home 1PM and it too late to travel from tube 130PM to Euston 230PM to train 3PM to Manchester arrive 545PM but my friend Capt.Aijaz Haroon check out 4PM leave hotel for airport 5PM and wait for PK7212 arrive 530PM and will fly PK7212 to New York. Capt.Aijaz Haroon miss me very much and I missed AP-BGZ 777LR. I should do yesterday but I got this message last night. If I get message yesterday morning or early afternoon then I can arrange then I can travel early morning to Manchester. Never mind. Perhaps nest time if 777LR still stopover Manchester and if Capt.Aijaz Haroon fly again then I will fly Inshallah.
