Can I Preallocate Seat at PIA website

I can see my itinerary at the PIA website for my trip next month. Does the Pre-allocate Seat at PIA website work and what is the chance that I can reserve a particular seat. Wonder if any one can here has done that.

You most definitly you can pre allocate your seat. It works.

Just go through the lay out and select your seat. Seats that are already allocated will be crossed. Choose your seat and reverse it.

I tried it last year and it worked perfectly...if you are in doubt write down the seats that you would like that are not allocated already and tell your travel agent to reserve those for you.

Mine worked both from my departure destination as well as Pakistan, I did mine over the internet too.

Yes offcourse, you can book a particular seat for you. Once you get the ticket just enter the PNR number into PIA website (reservation details) and get your desired seat if available!

1.)Once you have your ticket, take the PNR( Passenger Name Reference) otherwie known as locator or booking reference towards teh top right of your ticket.

2.)Go to www.piac.com.pk and type in the PNR at the bottom of the page in the Reservations Details box

3.) A seat plan will appear for your flight and class of travel.

PLEASE NOTE THAT EXTRA LEGROOM/EXIT SEATS ARE BLOCKED OFF UNTIL DAY OF TRAVEL AND EVEN THEN ARE ONLY ISSUED ON FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS AT CHECK IN !!

4.) Once you have chosen your particular seat and decide you want to change the seat number, this willonly be possible via your local PIA Call Centre

However you can still see which seats are available on the seat map, which is quite nice
