Firstly PK786 operates on the LHR-ISB sector and not BHX-ISB.
Secondly, after reading this article, it seems that some PIA airport staff at Birmingham seem no different some of their to their Mancunian cousins.
They feel they are doing a favour to the passengers and the passengers should be grateful.

Yeah
Usalamulkium,
Regarding the flight number. That’s what I thought that they have got the wrong flight number instead of saying PK786 they should have said PK792.

i think the article raises more questions -
regardless of whether the flt no was bhx or lhr
the incident took place 07mnths ago.
does anyone remember a mass rally taking place in Birmingham against PIA?
were the staff concerned/involved actually repremanded for their actions?
if the last 11 seats were being given out to the so-called 'confirmed' pax who were really on the request list why didnt arshad and ibrar kick-up a fuss when their names should have been called first?
would u stand around whilst 11 names are being called out before you ?
did any other family members actually travel with the deceased?
simply ,i think they were victims of queue jumpers
