High flying flags

Post by pkjet »

Just as I really started to like the current livery, the tail is to go..........
Anyway, all this scheme needed was a lighter shade of green on existing greens and the cream replaced with lime/light green.

I am sure we have all noticed it but how come 743 AP-BFY and A310 AP-BEQ have higher tails compared to other aircrafts in the fleet ? I must say I like the high flying flag as it immeditely lets you know it's a PIA tail.

see here :

Normal tail on a PIA 747 :

Tail on AP-BFY :

Normal tail on a PIA A310 :

Tail on PIA A310 AP-BEQ :

In the previous scheme AP-BGG had higher PIA titling on the tail as opposed to her sisterships !!

Either someone has too high a hand or there is something silly going on !

To me it seems low morale in the paintshop related to the livery and they are showing their displeasure by applying the flag in this inconsistent manner.
