When to travel?

Post by BigJ »

Hello,
I am an airline employee in the USA who wishes to travel JFK or ORD to MAN on PK.
I have been bumped on 3 trys so far within the last year.
Is there any day or time that would be best?
Thank you!
I cannot wait to try the PK service!

Really depends on the kind of ticket you have. An NS1 (bookable) or NS2 (non-bookable). Jan 20th to April 20th will be the lean period for travel.

Thank you for the reply.
The ticket is not bookable and is space available.
I will try to go in February.

I am going to try to go 722 on 2/22, and return 715 on 2/24.
The seat availability looks goog right now.
The only sad thing is I will miss out on the 777.
Thanks for the information.

BigJ,

I can assist you with your travel on PK 722 and for your return leg if you choose to fly on the 26th PK 717 MAN-JFK I may be able to assist you with your seating and a trip to the flight deck.

This is true, and I cannot wait!
The 777 will be around for awhile, but not the classics.

Well, thank you.
I will see if I can get some more time off, otherwise I will have to stay with 715 on the 24th.

jump seat

Post by umar744 »

My Dearest Friend,

Salam Hello

I am surprised you are staff ticket standby. Same me too.

You can get jump seat in cockpit or cabin crew. You must tell PIA Station Manager or any PIA check-in counter for jump seat or you catch Captain and you request captain to sign your staff ticket for jump seat and you ask Captain for you wish to sit jump seat in cockpit for take off & landing or sit cabin crew jump seat.

Please note aircraft 74M Combi has only two jump seats and 747-300 only six jump seats and 777 only three jump seats.

What date will you fly from JFK to Pakistan?I will find out name of Captain for you. Please let me know.

Best wishes and kindest regards.

UMAR
