* Lease term for GE90 engines' lease is set as 11 months. However, lease term of more than 11 months may also be offered depending on the condition of engine.

* EASA Form 1 or FAA form 8130 or TCCA Form One or CAA UK Form 1 release are accepted documents for inspection and release of engines for installation.

PIA should be renamed as Tender International airlines (TIA). Always inviting bids but nothing materialises. PIA has invited such bids more than a dozen times in the last 12-15 months but still, almost half of the 777 fleet is grounded.

In 2023, PIA had 9 operational 777s and only BID, BHW and BGL were not operational and BID came into ispahani hangar and was being prepared to be brought back to life. Now in 2025, Covid is gone, EU is open & the airline has been made debt free but the fleet situation has worsened.

Would be a big achievement if PIA is able to reach the same number of 9 operational 777s by the end of this year.

IDK why but the current management seems to be relaxed as UK doesn't seem to be opening anytime soon and the privatisation means that the current management has no incentive for long term planning.
