What is your future plan of PIA?
My future plan for PIA is getting new routes whilst also getting new planes and refurbed cabins. I say getting new routes like Bangladesh, maybe India too (as it’s the most populated country), China (as it’s the second most populated country) and Afghanistan. Purely because of the fact that they have no routes anywhere to be honest (Afghanistan). Pakistan being a neighbouring country should take advantage of that and start flying there. By doing this they can become a hub for other countries and fill our planes up properly. After the privatisation happens, hopefully they will refurbish cabins and restore old aircrafts so they will be international standard and fly out to European countries and have Pakistani people on it but to fill the plane to the max, have other people on it like Afghans, Bangladeshis, Chinese and maybe Indians too. When they start getting new planes in, they can increase the countries they are a hub too. Seeing this, more tourists would potentially come into the country, our airports will be filled and hopefully expanded and we will see pakistan as a leading aviation country once again. Obviously, this will take time and some people may not fly PIA because of the safeness and the current condition our planes are in, right now. That’s why this could and should happen after the privatisation.

My future plan for PIA is getting A350/B787 and refurbished cabins. Routes don't matter to me, I am really screaming on the top of my lungs for our current 777s to have the Cabin Refurbished after Privatization. The cabin should look like other airlines that are meeting international standards, it should look the ME3 cabins, and due to every airline doing their business class as private suites and copying the Qatar Qsuite style. I do want to see PIA not only flying back to New York, but they should fly to Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami. At the end, I want to see Golden Times comeback for PIA.Eyesonpia wrote: Thu Mar 27, 2025 9:02 pm My future plan for PIA is getting new routes whilst also getting new planes and refurbed cabins. i think , Pia Should get A321Neo and start covering EU routes, Spain , Italy and Greece have huge potential where A lot of Pakistanis living as well as Eastern Europe is the new destination for Pakistanis as well.
So with one stop over ( even technical stopover will be fine) 2-3 weekly flights to these 3 countries will have a huge impact on PIA,s business and presence in Europe.
i still don't understand why Pia started from Paris , why not Barcelona or Milan or Athens?
777 are old story now. PIA have to induct small planes with extended range. Pakistanis living in Europe still want to switch to PIA BUT with better service and competitive fares. Direct flights are always a preference for families with young kids and elderly people.

Don't want to think too far because of the uncertainties in Pakistan. The only realistic aim for the next 12-18 months should be to restore full fletched flight operations to UK & EU markets and bring back some of the grounded aircrafts, let's say 10× operational boeing 777s and 13-15× operational a320s, achieving these objectives will be a big achievement at this point. And of course, top of the list is the privatisation of PIA into safe hands and not some fraudulent group of investors.
