AUCTION NOTICE
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) intends to Open Auction of Qty (03) A310 Aircrafts parked at Karachi Airport, purely on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”.
Auction schedule is as under:
A. Aircraft structure “Hull” is parked at Karachi Airport, for inspection of aircraft each bidder must submit a written application to Incharge Disposal Section (SCM) Building PIA Karachi Airport along with two copies of CNIC and a pay order amounting Rs. 6,000 per person in the name of PIA as auction entry fee. Last date of submission of application is 28-02-2025.
B. Inspection will be carried out on any working day from 1100 hours till 1530 hours from 03-03-2025 till 07-03-2022 (no camera and mobile phones are allowed on inspection and auction day).
C. Auction will be held on 12-03-2025 at 1400 hours at SCM Building PIA Head Office, Karachi Airport, in case if auction could not held on same day, it shall be held on next working day.
Terms and Conditions for Auction:
On the day of Auction, Interested party/individual must bring a pay order in favour of PIA amounting Rs. 500,000 as earnest money which is refundable to the unsuccessful bidders.
Only those parties / individual would be allowed to enter / participate in the auction process who will submit auction fee PKR 10,000 and earnest money in form of pay order to PIA.
The successful bidder(s) will be required to deposit amount equivalent to 25% of the total bid value within two days in shape of pay order in favor of Pakistan International Airlines and remaining 75% within Five working days after the auction otherwise PIA reserves the right to forfeit earnest money / 25% deposited amount. Only Pay Order in favor of Pakistan International Airlines will be acceptable. Bank Guarantee, Call deposit, cheque and any other payment instrument will not be entertained.
PIA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to divide business amongst the bidder, to annul complete process in line with PPRA rules.

After approval of the Management and issuance of first AEP, successful bidders will be required to remove the aircraft within 30 days time, after lapse of allowed 30 days PKR 10,000/= per day will be charged as parking / warehouse charges and this concession will only be for next 07 days only. In case, successful bidder fails to remove the aircrafts even after elapse of allowed 07 days, PIA Management reserves the right to forfeit the Earnest money and total amount deposited with PIA.
All participants/bidders to inspect/check the material carefully on given day / time mentioned above well before the auction date. No claim whatsoever will be accepted after auction completion.
The successful bidder will be responsible if PIA property/belongings are damaged during dismantling and removal process.
All Government of Pakistan applicable levies & taxes shall also be payable by successful bidder.
