The aircraft belongs to aviation leasing company BOC Aviation.

My guess is it is for Fly Jinnah, since they already have AP-BPE registered and active, also considering they plan to increase number of routes

It was unlikely that this aircraft was for Fly Jinnah because this one is old (almost 15 years).

Fly Jinnah’s fleet is relatively new, and I believe they prefer to keep it that way.

Its a leased fleet, and other than the engine everything else is the same.

Plus their heavy maintenance is outsourced, even now PIA can do it with CFM 56 engines.

Might not be ideal but I am sure its a not a big deal.

PIA operated six GE powered A310s and six PW powered A310s.
