Pakistan Customs at Multan Airport recovered a total of 78 high value mobile phones including 54 iPhones from five cabin crew members of a PIA flight that arrived in Multan from Dubai.
Initially, customs seized 24 iPhones from two female flight attendants. During interrogation, the female flight attendants revealed that their male colleagues on the flight also smuggled mobile phones. The male flight attendants were brought back to the airport from hotel and 54 mobile phones were recovered from three male flight attendants.
After the completion of inquiry and confiscation of mobile phones, the detained cabin crew members were released.

On January 22, PIA Airbus A320 aircraft registration AP-BLB arrived in Multan at 3:07 PM as flight PK222 from Dubai.
