Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed has assumed charge of acting Director General (DG) Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA). He takes over from Air Vice Marshal Taimur Iqbal.
On August 14, 2024, Air Vice Marshal Taimur Iqbal was appointed DG Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) on interim basis for 90 days or until the position is given to a regular appointee, whichever comes first.
Before his new role, Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed served as Chief Project Director of the Phoenix project at the Air Headquarters (AHQ) in Islamabad. He has had a distinguished career in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and is a recipient of two prestigious military awards Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military), in recognition of his exemplary service.
On November 12, 2024, Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed was transferred and posted as Additional Director General Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) under Aviation Division as relief of Air Vice Marshal Taimur Iqbal on secondment basis on standards terms and conditions with immediate effect and until further orders with the approval of Prime Minister.
On September 8, 2024, Pakistan's Ministry of Aviation gave advertisement in newspapers to appoint Director General Pakistan Airports Authority on regular basis.
