PIA Suspends Flight Steward for Smuggling Mobile Phones on Toronto to Islamabad Flight

PIA has suspended a Flight Steward who had arrived in Islamabad on airline's October 24 flight PK782 from Toronto with 16 mobile phones concealed/wrapped around his body.



On October 24, PIA Boeing 777-200LR aircraft registration AP-BGZ as flight PK782 departed from Toronto at 10:00 AM and arrived in Islamabad at 7:01 AM on October 25.

The PIA flight steward had arrived in Islamabad as a passenger of airline's flight PK782 from Toronto, according to news details. He was not wearing PIA cabin crew uniform.
