The populated area is too close to the runway, similar to Lahore and Karachi to an extent ( near model colony). CAA should buy the land nearby and demolish the constructions.
From October 18 12:00 AM to October 22 11:59 PM, flights to & from Peshawar to be operated to & from Islamabad. Airlines have made arrangements for the transportation of passengers between Peshawar and Islamabad by buses.
October 20 - PIA flights PK217 to Abu Dhabi and PK735 to Jeddah to be operated from Islamabad. All other domestic & international flight departures cancelled at Peshawar Airport.
October 21 - PIA flights from UAE including PK218 from Abu Dhabi, PK258 from Sharjah and PK284 from Dubai arrived/to arrive in Islamabad. All other domestic & international flight arrivals cancelled at Peshawar Airport.
October 21 - PIA flights to UAE including PK217 to Abu Dhabi, PK257 to Sharjah and PK283 to Dubai operated/to operate from Islamabad. All other domestic & international flight departures cancelled at Peshawar Airport.
Loop taxiways H and J closed for all traffic due to recent maintenance work. All pilots to make 180 degree turn at the end of Runway 35 and backtrack on runway.

On October 23, flight operations resumed at Peshawar Airport. Serene Air Airbus A330-200 aircraft registration AP-BNG arrived in Peshawar at 1:45 AM as flight ER852 from Jeddah.
